Scott Nelson has been with Geo-Synthetics, Inc. of Waukesha since the company started
in 1979. During that time he has been involved in all facets of a company that started
with 5 employees to a company that currently employs 200 and has locations in eight
states. He currently is serving as a Vice- President of the company. Scott resides
in Delafield with his wife Cheri. Both daughters are married; Mandie and her husband,
Mark, have two daughters and live in Oconomowoc. Jaala and her husband Larry live
in Las Vegas and have one son. Scott and Cheri have been involved in the start up of two churches in
the Delafield area and he has served on the elder board of both of those churches.
Scott and Cheri have served as host and hostess for retreats. He has a deep love
for this ministry and for pastors. Scott can engage almost any of our guests in
conversation that leaves them encouraged and uplifted. He also has a gift of discernment
and is a willing worker with a servant's heart. He is a strong advocate for the
pastor with a challenge to excel laced with empathy.
